After a full year of merging as a super trio in relatively smaller and intimate venues both locally and internationally, singer-songwriters Ebe Dancel, Johnoy Danao, and Bullet Dumas are celebrating their musical anniversary with a complete concert setup (featuring The Manila String Machine) at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan on February 19, 2016.
Ian Urrutia, the main man behind the successful indie gigs in the metro via Vandals On The Wall and Gabi Na Naman Productions, enthusiastically enumerates the individual accomplishments of 3D: Dancel, Dumas, and Danao as solo acts which paved way for them to hit the big time and collaborate to make a live show that will surely entranced a mass-full of music fans, “Ebe Dancel continues to hit it big with the recent release of his album, Bawat Daan under Star Music. His self-titled single is part of Dan Villegas rom-com hit Walang Forever and is making rounds at local radio stations as of the moment. Johnoy Danao recently bagged Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist and Best World Music Recording at the 28th Awit Awards. The singer-songwriter best known for songs “Ikaw at Ako” and “Dapithapon” is currently on the studio, recording new songs for his follow-up release. Fresh from his well-received duet with Gary Valenciano at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Bullet Dumas is now signed under Stages Talents-- one of the fast-rising talent management agencies in the Philippines that handle the careers of Christian Bautista, Karylle, Sam Concepcion, and Enrique Gil.”
3D, in a musical presscon held a few weeks ago in The Coffee Barn at Scout Torillo, QC, promises the audiences a show that will pull on the heartstrings. Dancel related that as a supergroup, they are very much learning and complimenting from one another when it comes to their musical collaborations, while still maintaining their topnotch individual styles. They hope to perform in other provincial and foreign venues with audiences that truly dig their kind of songs.
DAMA 3D: Danao, Dancel, Dumas is being supported by brand and media partners, including JB Music, Fringe Manila, Mfore Studio, Identity Design, MTV Pinoy, MYX, MOR 101.9, Jam 88.3’s Fresh Filter, Inquirer.net, Spot.ph, Wheninmanila.com, Amplify.ph, Bandwagon Asia, and Radio Republic.
