The Voice Kids PH Season 2: Our Top 3 bets for the Finale

UPDATE 8/23/2015

Contrary to what I anticipated that audience votes would be affected by blind fandom for the coaches, the result of the semi-finals was actually pretty good. The kids that will advance to the finals, as predicted, are Reynan Dal-anay, Esang de Torres and Sassa Dagdag. Elha Mae Nympha surprised us with her powerful Semi-Finals performance that gave her the well-deserved 4th slot for the final stage of the competition.

With the caliber of the kids that made it to the finals, this is really anybody's ballgame - and this is something that is worth looking forward to.

Ratings juggernaut The Voice Kids PH recently picked the Top 6 contestants who will advance to the anticipated Live Shows. So before the selection gets diluted with audience text votes, we have listed down the Top 3 best performances from the last stage of the selection process.

#3 Reynan Dal-anay
Lea Salonga has a strong team this season with both contestants under her performing really well during the sing-offs. Reynan sounds like the less polished Darren Espanto. His background is worthy of an MMK episode and as far as kids wearing ethnic costumes go, he isn't annoying.

#2 Esang de Torres
Lea's Mini-me and possible grand champion this season. Esang sings and carries herself like a pro. She has the presence of a champion and is currently the most popular choice in online forums.

#1 Sassa Dagdag
Bamboo's chance at a title, Sassa is this season's dark horse. The kid has the best performance during the sing-offs and given the right song choice, has the potential to be the best product of the show this season. With vocals reminiscent of Ingrid Michaelson - Sassa can easily take the championship performance-wise. They just have to work more on promoting this kid to the voting public.
