Antoinette Jadaone goes full mainstream mode for Star Cinema's You're My Boss

Quality and box-office success don't always go hand-in-hand especially in the local entertainment setting. While we have several critically-acclaimed movies, only a handful of Filipinos get to watch them and most of the ones that make it big in terms of earnings are... well... let's just say a lot of them are bad.

But sometimes, a writer/director hits the right formula that balances out quality and quantity. Woman of the moment Antoinette Jadaone is that person. Still reeling from the commercial success and critical recognition of That Thing Called Tadhana (writer/director) and English Only, Please (writer), Jadaone is now prepping her next potential hit produced by Star Cinema - You're My Boss.

With a filmography that includes Relaks, It's Just Pag-ibig (writer/director), Six Degrees of Separation from Lilia Cuntapay (writer/director), Beauty in a Bottle (writer/director) and Ekstra (writer), it would be interesting to see how Jadaone would go full mainstream mode with Star Cinema's latest project without sacrificing the quality that we have come to expect from her work. I guess it won't take long before we get to judge see. You're My Boss starring Coco Martin and Toni Gonzaga, while still under production, is set to be released on April 4, 2015.
