True cinema lovers will have a treat from the Metro Manila Film Festival this year as they feature a New Wave Category that would hopefully eclipse the main category by at least several miles. While there are a few exceptions, the main category of the MMFF has been known as a mainstream fiesta of family favorites, some of which have been recycled for several years already.
The New Wave Category will run from December 19 to 24 at Glorietta 4 in Makati City and SM Megamall cinemas in Mandaluyong. Check the schedule for both cinemas at the bottom of the post.
