For whether we admit it or not, everyone hopes for a kind of love that could truly embodies the classic vow: for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.
Most of us have accepted the fact that this does not apply to everyone, not even to married couples that have been together for years. We have come to expect that someone would always bolt away when the going gets tough and those that naively believe otherwise are often left hurt and unprepared at the worst possible time in their lives.
But sometimes, we come across the type of love that survives every trial that is thrown their way. On December 1st, in line with the observance of the World AIDS Day, MMK presents two people whose love will be tested by a deadly disease. A trial that I hope they would be able to overcome, not only so they could have whatever happy ending is afforded those that live with HIV/AIDS, but to serve as inspiration and proof to all that sometimes love truly does conquer all.
