Ate Gay takes on MOA Arena for first major concert

Ate Gay is one of the more prominent names in the stand-up comedy circuit that has slowly, but surely crept into the mainstream. I still recall Ate Gay hosting the very first stand up comedy show that I watched in the early 2000's at Basilica in Malate. We came pretty early so we were inevitably noticed as soon as we got in. We were then ushered to the table in front of the stage and dragged to sing along with the hosts. To this day, Ate Gay has the distinction of being the only person that has made me sing and in front of a crowd at that.

Years after that unforgettable experience, I am glad to see that Ate Gay's career is really taking off. I cannot think of anyone more deserving to be given such a break. And on November 30, 2012, Ate Gay will take on the biggest stage in the country for her first major concert entitled: Ako Nanan... Ate Gay sa Arena.

The concert is produced by That’s Ntertainment Productions and directed by Philip Lazaro and Andrew de Real. Special guests include The CompanY, Aiza Seguerra, Aegis, Anton Diva, Allan K and the Talentadings, X-Factor, John “Sweet” Lapus, SexBomb; and the one and only Superstar, Ms. Nora Aunor.
