Reb Atadero stars in the stage adaptation of The Woman in Black

Reb Atadero (Bare, Rizal X) stars in a special advanced engagement of Dulaang Kalay's The Woman in Black. He stars opposite Jeremy Domingo, winner of the 2011 Broadwayworld Philippines Best Actor in a Featured Role Award.

The Woman in Black is a 1983 horror fiction novel by Susan Hill that was adapted as a straight play in London’s West End in 1989. It has since been adapted as a TV movie and later on as a film featuring Daniel Radcliffe.

The stage adaptation is a two-man play within a play. The story begins years after the horrifying experiences of Arthur Kipps at the Eel Marsh House. Troubled, he enlists an actor to recount the story of  the 'Woman in Black', hoping that this will help him to move on from those events and be rid of the ghost once and for all. This attempt proved futile as the malevolent figure refuses to be exorcised— and returns to haunt them.

The Woman in Black will be staged at Teatrino, Greenhills Promenade on August 31, 2012 with shows at 1PM and 7PM. Regular admission is P400, while teachers and students may avail of discounts upon presenting a valid school ID. For tickets you call Ted Guayco at (63) 935 133 2893.
