DISQUS SHORTNAME

I Do Bidoo Bidoo opens nationwide on August 29

Insatiable business magnate Manny Pangilinan (MVP) said that this film is better than Mamma Mia. I am sure that he exaggerates. After all, he co-produced this movie.

The Cinema Evaluation Board gave this an A Rating for quality. What do they know? They gave Segunda Mano an A Rating as well and that sucked big time.

So, don't take their word for it. See this for yourselves. The film so far looks like a perfect dish with all the right ingredients. It has Sam Concepcion and Tippy dos Santos, whom theater fans can attest, are pros when it comes to musicals. We have seen it in Peter Pan. It has Ogie Alcasid, Gary V and Zsa Zsa Padilla who are icons in the OPM industry and have all rendered credible performances in film and television. And then there's Eugene Domingo. Probably this generation's biggest (and I don't mean in terms of body size) and most important actress, we just haven't realized it yet. She can do drama, she can do comedy, she can do crazy and now she is out to show us that she can sing and dance as well. Finally, the film has Chris Martinez at the helm. A credible writer and director that has produced quality hits with or without the support of major studios.

If those reasons aren't enough, watch it for the timeless hits of the Apo Hiking Society that served as the centerpiece for this production.

I Do Bidoo Bidoo  opens on August 29 in theaters nationwide.
