BWW Philippines Awards announces winners
January 22, 2012 MLA. Broadwayworld.com announces the winners of the first ever BWW Philippines Awards. The online poll which ran from November 3rd to December 31st 2011 aims to give recognition to theater practitioners in the country.

Cris Villonco - The Joy Luck Club - Repertory Philippines
Best Leading Actor (Musical)
Vince Tañada - Cory ng Edsa - Philippine Stagers Foundation
Best Leading Actor (Play)
Martin Delos Santos - Ang Post Office - PETA
Best Leading Actress (Play)
Shamaine Buencamino - Fake - UP Playwrights' Theater

Jeremy Domingo - American Hwangap - Tanghalang Pilipino
Aliw Awards winner for Best Musical, Cory ng Edsa, swept the polls and bagged the awards for Best Musical, Actor, Director, Choreography, Costume, Musical Direction, Set and Sound Design.
9 Works Theatrical is named Best Theater Company and Resorts World Manila, the Best Theatrical Venue.
