This October, TV5 presents a mini-series starring some of the best actors in the country, all put together in an ensemble of support for the greatest actress in Philippine Cinema.
After almost eight years of absence, Nora Aunor is reunited with director Mario O'Hara (Bulaklak ng City Jail, Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos) and co-stars Bembol Roco and Christopher de Leon in Sa Ngalan ng Ina. This is backed-up by a powerful roster of actors led by Rosanna Roces and Eugene Domingo.
In her limited stay in the country, Nora first finished a project with Gov ER Ejercito playing the second wife of the first president of the Republic in El Presidente. Tikoy Aguiluz (Boatman, Balweg) directs. Nora is also tapped to do several other projects including the latest installment of Regal Films' Mano Po series that has already starred some of best actresses in the industry including Maricel Soriano, Susan Roces, Sharon Cuneta and Nora's showbiz rival, Vilma Santos.
Sa Ngalan ng Ina is set to premiere today at Cinema 2, SM North Edsa, The Block. The series will air starting October 3 on TV5.
